Brian, about Ivan…
Ivan is the most intelligent person I know. His knowledge of facts, geography, culture, and more amaze me. He is a very tender person and has an amazing ability to adapt well to many different situations. Ivan is a voracious reader and loves music dearly. I love to watch him play his guitar to Amelia and hope someday he and all of our children will play music together. Ivan is very patient and forthright. It has been a wonderful experience over the years watching him grow into fatherhood. I have no doubt that he will continue to be an incredible father to our children.

Brian is a true renaissance man. When I met him, I really had no idea what I was getting. Brian is passionate about quality. People tend to overuse the word ‘passionate’ when describing a person’s virtues, but Brian truly is dedicated to quality in every one of his pursuits, whether it is the tending of our vegetable garden, cooking or parenting. His career in cooking has led him to cook for Presidents and his cooking has the respect of the best in the business. He loves to build things and he has proven it by building our chicken coop and deck from the ground up. He inspires me and teaches me so much about where we get our food and why it is so important to support sustainable agriculture and small farms. As a parent, Brian continues to amaze me in how he manages his career and being the primary caregiver for Amelia.
