About us...
Both of us grew up in Southern California beach communities. Our families still reside in our hometowns. Ivan, from Irvine, also lived in Boston while in college and then settled in the Bay Area ten years ago. Brian, from Ventura, moved to the Bay Area fourteen years ago to attend college. We met seven years ago while on a seven-day fundraising bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. We quickly realized that we shared similar hopes and values and have been committed to each other ever since. We are both successful in our lines of work but our desire to be parents has been a big part of how we have developed our professional lives. Ivan is a dentist with a practice in the Union Square area of San Francisco. Brian owns a catering business, which allows him to work mostly from home and spend the majority of time with our 3 1/2 year old daughter Amelia, and hopefully a new baby someday. We have a wonderful group of friends and family that can hardly wait for Amelia to have a little brother or sister.
